EPETRECERE COOKIE POLICY Version 1.2 Republic of Moldova Updated: 11 September 2026 This document forms part of the EPETRECERE Legal Pack and applies together with the other documents of the pack within the limits of its subject matter.
1. Purpose
This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on epetrecere.md and applies together with the Privacy Policy and the General Terms.
2. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small quantity of information stored on the device or associated with the browser session. Local storage, session storage, SDKs, pixels, tags and identifiers may also be used.
3. Categories
Strictly necessary — authentication, session, security, anti-fraud and core functions. Functional — language, region and preferences. Analytical — statistics, errors and performance. Marketing — measurement of advertising and audiences, where implemented and where the necessary legal basis exists.
4. Consent
Optional technologies are enabled solely on the basis of consent where consent is required by law. Refusal must not remove the essential functions.
5. Cookie Banner
The interface shall allow the optional categories to be accepted, refused or configured, and shall allow access to the Policy. It must be possible to change the choice subsequently.
6. Duration
Cookies may be session cookies or persistent cookies. The duration of each technology is indicated in the updated register.
7. First-Party and Third-Party
EPETRECERE uses its own technologies and strictly necessary technologies supplied by Clerk and Cloudflare. The current register of technologies, providers, purposes and durations is published at /cookies.
8. Mobile Applications
The applications may use SDKs, push tokens, identifiers and local storage. This information is also described in the Privacy Policy and in the application settings.
9. International Processing
Third-party services may entail processing outside the Republic of Moldova; the provisions of the Privacy Policy concerning international transfers shall apply.
10. Cookie Register

ep_consent — EPETRECERE — evidence of banner choice — up to 12 months — strictly necessary.
locale — EPETRECERE — interface language — up to 12 months — preference.
epetrecere-public-ai-chat in localStorage — EPETRECERE — local assistant history — until chat reset or browser deletion — necessary for the requested feature.
moments-device-* in localStorage — EPETRECERE — upload limits and deletion of the uploader's photographs — until browser deletion; server data up to 180 days — necessary for the feature.
compare/recent/preferences in localStorage — EPETRECERE — comparisons, recent items and UI preferences — until browser deletion — preference.
Analytics or marketing technologies are not enabled before consent and are added to this register before use.
11. Amendments
The Policy and register are updated before a new technology or provider is enabled. An expansion of optional categories or purposes is notified and fresh consent is requested where legally required.
